• PO – Product Owner
  • PBL – Product Backlog
  • SM – Scrum Master
  • DT – Development Team
  • SH – Stakeholders

Concepts to take into consideration

  • PO is the one responsible for the PBL.
  • PO is focused on the VALUE. It is all about the value.
  • PO can delegate tasks to the development team but the PO is still the sole person responsible for the PBL.
  • There are questions related to Project Management which is fine except that they cannot be within the Scrum team.
  • PO and SM can be part of the dev team.
  • There can only be one PO per product. A PO can handle multiple products.
  • Scrum Events and Artifacts are always required and cannot be changed (contents can change). The team cannot decide if they should do or not do a certain event or skip the daily scrum.
  • The PO, SM and DT roles are all interchangeable. Both the PO and SM can also be developers and the PO can also be SM.
  • The DT only interacts with the PO. No other person or entity from outside the scrum team can interact with the DT.
  • Scrum is against titles, and is only limited to the 3 roles. If you see questions or choices about project managers or team leaders, it is probably false or incorrect.
